Zach is a member of the Canadian Association of Farm Advisors and is currently working on his FEA designation through Family Enterprise Exchange. He loves working with great families and skilled operators in the diverse and complex industry that is agriculture. Each operation and family are unique with their own strengths and challenges. Focusing on the business aspect as well as the family and the future is what he really enjoys doing. The clients he works with have a passion for what they do and are generally very good at it. He finds working with someone who cares about their business, family, and their future makes keeps his role diverse and ever changing since each client needs a personalized approach.
The growth and pace of change within the agriculture industry is astounding. With the social, political, weather, and economic pressures that producers face, Zach is inspired by how these families persevere. These pressures aren't going away rather just intensifying and he looks forward to working with families to address these challenges. The transition of wealth and control to the next generation is another area that will drastically change the landscape of the industry in the next two decades. Helping families navigate through tough decisions and the process is an opportunity that Zach loves about his work.
Zach values giving back to the local community and does so as the Lethbridge Minor Football Association’s previous president, Southern Alberta Minor Football Association’s Treasurer, Junior Cougars Football Association’s Treasurer, board member of the Cougar Athletics Team Society, and Coach for the Junior Cougars football team.
