The Alberta Government has announced a $2,000 REP Implementation Grant for eligible small and medium-sized businesses that choose to implement the Restrictions Exemption Program, and a $1,000,000 REP Training Grant.

REP Implementation Grant
How much money can I receive from the grant?
The REP Implementation Grant will be a one-time payment of $2,000 for eligible businesses.
What can I use the money for?
Basically, for whatever you want. -"Alberta businesses eligible for the REP Implementation Grant can use the funding as they see fit."
Who is eligible for the grant?
At the time of the announcement, eligibility details had not yet been formalized.
What we do know at this time, is that you must be:
- an Alberta-based business,
- a small or medium-sized business, and
- implementing the REP (Restrictions Exemption Program)
REP Training Grant
How much money can I receive from the grant?
One million dollars has been allocated to the program for eligible industry associations, but at the time of the announcement, individual amounts were not yet released.
What can I use the money for?
The REP training grant funds are to be used for:
- training to support the safety of workers when implementing the Restrictions Exemption Program
- developing or procuring training to help workers assess and manage challenging situations that may arise during their daily work

What we do know at this time, is that the grant is targeted at industry associations as opposed to individual businesses.
