Responsibilities
- Be the primary point of contact for our internal team, delivering technical assistance across various channels for software, hardware, and network issues.
- Investigate and resolve technical issues related to accounting software configurations, network connectivity, and hardware malfunctions to ensure seamless operations across the firm.
- Offer detailed guidance to our team members for efficient and accurate utilization of accounting software.
- Work closely with third-party vendors for procurement, installations, and upgrades, ensuring smooth integration within our firm's dynamic environment.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and configurations to streamline future technical support efforts for the entire organization.
- Monitor, manage, and track requests from initiation to resolution, updating the service request tracking system with pertinent details, ensuring swift problem resolution.
- Provide coaching, instructions, and training to internal users facing various technological challenges, fostering a tech-savvy culture within the organization.
- Consult with end-users and recommend IT solutions, including planning and implementing strategies to meet the evolving needs of our growing team.
- Installing, configuring, and deploying workstations and software applications, ensuring a robust and efficient technological infrastructure.
- Conduct daily system monitoring, ensuring the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems, and critical processes, supporting the needs of our internal team.
Competencies
- High School Diploma/GED plus up to two years of post-secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Three (3) years of hands-on experience in software and hardware troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suite.
- Extensive experience in a networked PC environment.
- Familiarity with wireless and mobile devices.
- Clear communication skills for non-technical staff.
- Effective management of multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Adaptability to handle frequent interruptions and urgent situations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in analysis, critical thinking, problem-solving.
