What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee all aspects of bookkeeping, including bank account reconciliation, accounts receivable and payable, payroll calculations, WCB reporting, GST submissions, T4 preparation, and other tasks.
  • Deliver client engagements on time, consistently exceeding expectations and driving client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with our internal teams to provide exceptional service and foster a supportive work environment.
  • Address CRA inquiries to ensure compliance and maintain client trust.
  • Foster effective communication across all levels of the Avail team, aligning expectations and driving results.
  • Engage in ongoing learning initiatives that enhance your professional skills and career trajectory.

What We're Looking For

  • A diploma in business administration, accounting, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Demonstrated success as an Accounting Technician or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills with a solid track record of consistently meeting deadlines,
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and eagerness to embrace new cloud-based accounting software.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and foster positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.
