Avail now has an office in Invermere, BC

We are excited to announce that, on September 1, 2022, Avail LLP acquired Green Andruschuk LLP, an accounting firm located in Invermere, BC. As a result of this acquisition, Green Andruschuk LLP will now operate as Avail LLP, increasing our locations to eight regional offices to better serve our clients.

With this acquisition, we also welcome two new partners from Invermere into our organization, Gordon Green, CPA, CA and Kevin Andruschuk, CPA, CA. The addition of the Invermere office and their team members will allow us to provide our clients with an even greater amount of accounting and advisory resources, including decades of service-specific expertise, and additional in-depth knowledge across a broad range of industries.

New Partner Bios

Gordon Green - Gordon is a true Valley local – born and raised in Invermere. He obtained a Business Administration diploma from Calgary’s Southern Alberta Institute of Technology in 1982, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia in 1990. He articled with Coopers & Lybrand in Vancouver (predecessor firm to Price Waterhouse Coopers), successfully passed the UFE in 1991 and became a Chartered Accountant in 1995. Shortly thereafter, Gordon completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants’ In Depth Tax Course, and then joined the Invermere office in 1996 when he returned home.

When he’s not at the office, Gordon’s interests include fishing, camping, and playing golf and hockey.

Kevin Andruschuk - Kevin grew up in Invermere, leaving the Valley to attend the University of Calgary after high school. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce in 1999, articled at Collins Barrow, and received the Chartered Accountant designation in 2005. In Calgary, Kevin’s focus was on accounting and taxation issues, specializing in owner-managed businesses, construction, and land development. In 2006, Kevin returned to the Valley with his family to join the Invermere office. As a partner at the firm, his practice focuses on assisting entrepreneurs navigate the often-challenging tax and accounting requirements of running a business.

In his free time, Kevin mountain bikes, plays hockey, and camps with his sons. He is also the Director of the Columbia Basin Development Corporation, an economic development strategy-focused subsidiary of the Columbia Basin Trust.
